How close is Lot Z to Circuit of The Americas?

Both lots share one driveway on Elroy Road, on the east side of the circuit — Lot Z runs right down to the fence line of COTA's Lot L. On race days we open a gate on that fence line, so you walk straight out of the lot toward the track instead of back around by road. It's 0.35 miles (568 m) to the Turn 11 entrance, roughly 7 minutes on foot. Tap either lot on the map to buy.

Park and walk to Turn 11

Show your pass at the Elroy Road entrance and park at Lot Z or 8026 Elroy Rd. We open our gate at the back of the lot, so you walk straight out toward the track — about 7 minutes to the Turn 11 entrance.

We open a gate straight toward the track

Lot Z shares a fence line with COTA's Lot L, and on race days we open a gate right there — you walk out of the lot and head straight for the circuit instead of following the road around. It's 0.35 miles from the lot to the Turn 11 entrance, about 7 minutes on flat ground, so you're walking in on your own schedule rather than waiting on a shuttle to fill up. No boarding line, no waiting for a bus, no sitting in a vehicle after the checkered flag while everyone else tries to leave at once. If a 7-minute walk in Texas heat is a problem for your group, this is not the right lot — we'd rather tell you now.

Getting out after the checkered flag

Everyone leaves at once and nothing fixes that completely. What's different here: you walk 7 minutes back to your car and you're already on Elroy Road, a public road — not queued inside a circuit lot waiting to be released onto COTA Boulevard. We don't promise a minute count. We do promise your car is a 7-minute walk away the whole time, and nothing has to come pick you up.

FAQ

COTA F1 parking questions, answered

How far is Lot Z from Circuit of the Americas?

Lot Z (8028 Elroy Rd) and the 8026 Elroy Rd lot are about 0.35 miles from the Turn 11 gate on the east side of the circuit — roughly a 7-minute walk. Lot Z backs onto the COTA Lot L fence line, and we open our own gate there on race days so you can walk straight toward the track. You can see the exact route on the map above.

Is there a shuttle, or do I walk?

You walk, and it's a short one. We open a gate at the back of our lot on race days, so you head straight out toward the circuit instead of following the road around — about a third of a mile to the Turn 11 gate, roughly 7 minutes. You go in when you want and leave when you want, with your car a 7-minute walk away the whole time.

Do I have to walk all the way around to get into the track?

No. Lot Z shares a fence line with COTA's Lot L, and on race days we open a gate on that fence line for our guests. You park, walk out through our gate and head straight for the Turn 11 entrance — about 0.35 miles, roughly 7 minutes on flat ground.

How do I get my parking pass?

After checkout on Best Tickets VIP you get an instant order confirmation, and your parking pass is emailed to you ahead of race weekend. Show it on your phone (or print it) at the Elroy Road entrance.

How much is F1 parking at COTA for 2026?

At Lot Z the 3-day pass (Oct 23–25) is $249.00. Single-day passes are $59.99 for Friday, $114.99 for Saturday and $134.99 for Sunday, race day. The 3-day pass saves $60.97 compared with buying all three days separately ($309.97 vs. $249.00).

Can I buy parking for just one day?

Yes. Friday, Saturday and Sunday passes are each sold separately, and every pass covers one vehicle for that day.

What time can I arrive?

Gates open at 8:00 AM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of race weekend. Traffic on Elroy Road builds before each session, so arriving early is the easy way to skip the queue.

What's the difference between Lot Z and the 8026 Elroy Rd lot?

They sit right next to each other, use the same entrance on Elroy Road and have the same walk to the Turn 11 gate. Pass prices are identical, so pick whichever is available when you buy.

Is Lot Z Parking affiliated with Formula 1 or COTA?

No. Lot Z Parking is an independent, privately operated lot. We are not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA or Circuit of The Americas.

Are passes refundable?

All sales are final. Every pass is guaranteed authentic — if a pass is not valid you receive a full refund.

Where exactly is the entrance?

The shared entrance for both lots is on Elroy Road, Del Valle, TX 78617, on the west side of the road between 8026 and 8028 Elroy Rd. Use the Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps buttons above for turn-by-turn directions to 8028 Elroy Rd.
